Girrakool picnic area

Only 1 hr drive to north from Sydney. Take the family for a BBQ, better to have your own BBQ setup. Toilet facility is available. Then take everyone down the loop tracks. This will take you through some amazing natural formation ad wild life.



Mayfield Garden


A 2:30 hr drive from Sydney to the west past Blue Mountains. Privately owned, this garden will amaze you. Variety of plants and flowers. You will find firm animals to entertain your kids. Plenty of parking. Cafe and amenities onsite. They also run guided tour of the park.

Bombo Headland Quarry

Close by attraction: 7 Mile Beach

1 hour 30 min drive from Sydney to South coast.


You can spend some time to explore the area before heading down to Kiama.


A land with extra ordinary view of these unusual basalt columns. Plenty of parking. Some area may be suitable for family picnic. But, no BBQ or Toilet facility available here. You only need an hour to explore. You can also walk down to the Kiama beach from south end where you park.

Lets start with one of our south coast top attraction. 1 hour and 50 min drive from Sydney. Situated 710 Meters above sea level. A breath taking view of the south coast from 50 Meters watch tower from the forest floor.

A  walk above the years old rain forest.

Very nicely organised area with toilets, restaurant and picnic facility.

50 Meters high tower. 
The tree top walk is kids friendly. Including the tower. You might also come across the wild life.
